First Girls SHS in Hohoe Constituency Commissioned by The MP
The Hohoe Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister of Railway Development, Mr. John-Peter Amewu,recently dedicated and presented the Ghana Education Service with a newly constructed Girls Senior High School (SHS). Saint Esther Girls Senior High School, with the slogan “Empowerment, Service, and Integrity,” is a school situated in Wli. A second-cycle institution had long been a desire of the people of Wli, according to Mr.Amewu, who added that it had now come true. He claimed that the school will provide young girls with the chance to succeed and that it was fortunate that it was designed within the parameters of the free SHS program. Mr. Amewu offered to give the school the support it needs to compete with the biggest girls’ schools in the country and charged the Wli community to work with school officials to ensure smooth operations.
