February comes from the Latin word February, which means “to cleanse.” The month was named after the Roman Februalia, which was a month-long festival of purification and atonement that took place this time of year
February’s full Moon reaches peak illumination at Sunday, February 5, 2023. Look skyward on that night to catch the best view of this full Moon!

It’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. Other traditional Native American names for this Moon include the Eagle Moon (Cree), Raccoon Moon (Dakota), and Hungry Moon (Cherokee).

February’s Motivation
Although the outcomes of your activities may never be known, if you do nothing, there won’t be any outcomes.
At least occasionally in February, one can smell the still-distant but undoubtedly-approaching summer.
February is a short and sweet month.
There is always in February some one day, at least, when one smells the yet distant, but surely coming summer.
Getting closer to God this February
I asked the LORD for help, and he responded and delivered me from all of my worries.
The faces of those who look to Him are brilliant and will never be humiliated.
Oh.
Sense the goodness of the LORD for yourselves.

The one who seeks refuge in Him is blessed
Put all your faith in the LORD, and don’t rely on your own knowledge.
Recognize Him in all of your endeavors, and He will direct your steps.
Beloved, let this month which is a month of LOVE, take its course in our lives as individuals, family, friends, community, country, nation, and the world at large.
Let us be the reason, someone smiles this February, someone feels loved this February.

The Volta Region has been chosen to hold this year’s 66th Independence Day celebration.
Mr.Commey, Director of operations at the office of the President made this known when he took members of the national planning committee of the event to the region on Friday to alert traditional authorities of the development.

Mr. Divine Bosson, the chief executive of HO Municipal Assembly, as well as other regional stakeholders, accompanied Mr. Commey as he made his initial request to the Asogli traditional council. “The President has asked us to let to know that he has chosen Volta Region to host the 66th anniversary of Ghana’s Independence. This important celebration cannot continue to be held in Independence Square alone. He has determined that the Volta area, Ghana’s “ozone”city “, should take the center stage this year.

“We will be with you. We will give you all the support to make this celebration a success. We believe with our support and your support; this celebration will be equal to none.”
Togbe Tepre Hodo, President of the Volta Region House of Chiefs, said when the team called on the House, that it was “good news” to host the event in Volta.
Leading the delegation to the House of Chiefs was Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister. The team proceeded to the new Ho sports stadium to access the progress of work.
The exciting news is that for the first time in Ghana’s history, Volta Region would host the Independence Day Celebrations. We are putting Volta on the World Map,” he told reporters at the venue.
Site engineers told the media the facility would be delivered before the set date, considering the pace of work.
The Regional Minister also gave the assurance that planning was ongoing in earnest and was sure of unbroken progress with the support of all stakeholders.

The 5000-capacity facility, which had hitherto slowed in progress, was being hastily completed when the team visited.
Welcome to the first day of the year. This is a very significant day in the year. It is also a very significant day in your life as far as the year is concerned. This day should be given to God as a sacrifice or offering of time. It is like the first fruit of your time in the year. God is First and the first is the Lord’s. This is plain wisdom. If you give the first to God, He blesses the rest. As it works with material substance, that is how it works with time. Proverbs 3:9-10 is also applicable to time. The first day of the week does not have to be a Sunday. Although Sunday is called the first day of the week, the year does not always begin on a Sunday. The first day of the week is different each year. It is determined by the day the year began. If the year begins on a Wednesday, the first day of the week for that year would be Wednesday. The first day of the first week of the year is a core first season day. It is first day of the first week; the first day of the first month; and the first day of the year.

Time to make a fresh start. This is the beginning of the year and it is for a new beginning.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.!

So, as you stand at the gate of time, decree that this day would end on a positive note for you and people you know; and that the enemy would not deceive or take advantage of any. Decree that the first day of the year would be a day of life and not a day of death. Do not be carried away by the spirit of the celebration of the new year. Give Honor to God. Happy first day of the year! Happy New Year!
