Phlosam Foundation supports Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School with Learning Materials

The Phlosam Foundation has donated assorted teaching and learning materials to the Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School in the Adaklu District, as part of efforts to promote quality education in rural communities.

The donation was made on Monday, 3rd November 2025.

Mr. Samuel Abisinu, the founder of the Foundation, said the gesture aligns with the organization’s vision of empowering pupils in deprived communities with the necessary resources to enhance academic performance.

He noted that education plays a vital role in community development, adding that every child deserves access to quality learning tools regardless of geographical location.

Mr. Abisinu assured that the Phlosam Foundation will continue to extend similar support to schools within the Adaklu District and beyond.

He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to promoting educational development, mentorship, and community empowerment initiatives aimed at creating equitable learning opportunities for children.

Receiving the items, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Edward Dzidza, expressed appreciation to the Foundation for the support.

He described the donation as timely, stating that it would help both teachers and pupils to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Mr. Dzidza, however, appealed for further assistance in the provision of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment.

He said the absence of computers was hindering the effective teaching of ICT in the school.

Pupils expressing their joy over the donation

“We currently have no computer at the Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School, and this affects our ability to teach ICT as required. We are appealing to individuals, philanthropists, NGOs, government agencies, and benevolent organizations to support us with ICT materials,” he said.
